Blogged under Bloglockers,Free Agent Additions,Front Page,General Redskins Talk by admin on Wednesday 28 April 2010 at 9:10 pm

The Redskins have signed 38-year old WR Joey Galloway to a 1-year deal.  Galloway played in 3 games for the Patriots last season and he caught 7 passes for 67 yards (9.6 avg).  He has now played in 188 games in his NFL career and he has caught 689 passes for 10,777 yards (15.6 avg) with 77 TD grabs.  Galloway has also carried the football 63 times for 496 yards (7.9 ypc) with 1 TD run in his career.  Galloway doesn’t appear to have much tread left on his tires but it never hurts to bring a guy like Galloway into training camp just to see if he has anything left or not.
