The Washington Redskins have a nice set of TEs for 2010
28-year old Chris Cooley should be ready to go this season after being dogged by injuries last year. Cooley has made 2 Pro Bowls in his NFL career and he will be looking to make it three in 2010. Cooley played in 7 games (all starts) for the Redskins last season and he caught 29 passes for 332 yards (11.4 avg) with 2 TD grabs. He has now played in 87 games (80 starts) in his six years with the Redskins and he has caught 343 passes for 3,789 yards (11.0 avg) with 30 TD grabs. Look for him to have another solid year for the Skins in 2010.
24-year old Fred Davis really took advantage of Chris Cooley’s injury last year. Davis played in 16 games (10 starts) for the Redskins last year and he caught 48 passes for 509 yards (10.6 avg) with 6 TD grabs. He has now played in 27 games (12 starts) in his two years with the Redskins and he has caught 51 passes for 536 yards (10.5 avg) with 6 TD grabs. Look for Davis to cut into Cooley’s P.T. a tad in 2010.
