The Redskins picked OG Erik Cook out of New Mexico with the 229th pick (7th round) of the NFL Draft.  Cook is a big guy at 6’6″, 318 pounds but he’s slow (5.6 40).  Cook started all 12 games for New Mexico last season and he played in 48 games (33 starts) in his time there.  Cook will have a hard time making the Redskins roster because he’s not much of a athlete.  Most experts thought Cook wouldn’t get a call until after the draft so he is a man with a lot to prove.
