The Washington Redskins acquire Donovan McNabb from the Eagles

The Redskins have acquired 33-year old QB Donovan McNabb from the Eagles for a 2nd round pick in 2010 (#37 overall) and a conditional 3rd or 4th rounder in 2011 based on his performance in 2010.  McNabb played in 14 games for the Eagles last season and he completed 267 of 443 passes (60.3%) for 3,553 yards with 22 TD passes and 10 INTs (92.9 QB Rating).  He also carried the ball 37 times for 140 yards (3.8 ypc) with 2 TD runs last year.  McNabb has played in 148 games (11 years) in the NFL in which he has completed 2,801 of 4,746 passes (59%) for 32,873 yards with 216 TD passes and 100 INTs (86.5 QB Rating).  He also has carried the ball 573 times for 3,249 yards (5.7 ypc) with 28 TD runs in his career.  This was a outstanding move for the Redskins as McNabb is a winner.

    Huge signing. Both he and Shanahan have something to prove. McNabb will be fired up this year!

    You are right Dave. It will be fun to watch the Redskins-Eagles games this season. I really like this move as it’s a win now trade for the Redskins.
