The Washington Redskins sign two players
The Redskins have signed 26-year old CB Marcus McCauley and 22-year old rookie RB P.J. Hill. McCauley played in 10 games last season for the Vikings and he made 6 tackles. He has now played in 26 games in his NFL career and he has made 70 tackles and defensed 8 passes. McCauley should be able to help the secondary and special teams against the Chargers. Hill was a undrafted rookie out of Wisconsin that the Redskins signed off the Eagles’ practice squad. It was worth taking a look at Hill who was a outstanding college RB.
UPDATE: (6/10/2010) - The Redskins have released McCauley.
