The Redskins have signed offensive tackle Jeremy Bridges.  The 29-year old will compete for a starting job for the Redskins this season.  He has big time size at 6′4″, 326 pounds and he comes in at a possible need position for the Skins.  He played in 14 games (4 starts) for the Panthers last season and he has played in 62 games (39 starts) in his 6-year NFL career to date.  This was a good move for the Redskins.

The Washington Redskins sign WR Roydell Williams

The Washington Redskins have been searching for a veteran WR and it appears that they have settled on 28-year old Roydell Williams signing him to a 1-year deal.  Williams last played in the NFL in 2007 with the Titans.  He has played in 40 games in his three-year NFL career catching 84 passes for 1,139 yards (13.6 avg) with 6 TD grabs.  This was a good low risk signing for the Redskins.

The Washington Redskins sign QB Chase Daniel

The Redskins keep collecting QBs as they have signed undrafted QB Chase Daniel.  He’s on the short side at 6′0″, 218 pounds so he could have problems seeing over the offensive line.  No one can say that he wasn’t a great college QB just like current 3rd stringer Colt Brennan.  Daniel played in 51 games (41 starts) in his 4 years at Missouri and he completed 1,094 of 1,609 passes (68%) for 12,515 yards with 101 TD passes and 41 interceptions.  We shall see if Daniel has the ability to make the Redskins out of Training Camp.  But, either way it never hurts to have a lot of decent QBs on the roster.
