The Redskins have signed 27-year old DT Albert Haynesworth to a 7-year, $100 million dollar contract with $41 million dollars in guarantees.  Haynesworth is one of the best all around defensive linemen in the NFL and he improves the Redskins’ defense immediately.  The 6’6′, 320 pound Haynesworth played in 14 games with the Titans last season and he made 51 tackles, defensed 2 passes, had 8.5 sacks and he forced 3 fumbles.  He played in 90 games in his career with the Titans making 271 tackles, defensing 18 passes, forcing six fumbles and he had 24 sacks.  The Redskins better hope that Haynesworth is motivated and stays healthy or they might regret signing him.  But he has off the charts potential.
