The Washington Redskins have signed veteran WR Keenan McCardell.  McCardell played in 14 games last season for the Chargers and he caught 36 passes for 437 yards (12.1 avg) without a TD.  But, for his career McCardell has been outstanding as he has played in 200 games and caught 861 passes for 11,117 yards (12.9 avg) with 62 TD grabs.  The Redskins probably signed McCardell and Reche Caldwell earlier to guard against Santana Moss’ groin injury which could cause him to miss some time.  Moss has caught 12 passes for 199 yards (16.6 avg) with 0 TDs so far this season.
