The Redskins felt that Brown and Ecker just weren’t good enough to make their team so they let them go.  Brown returned 1 kickoff in the pre-season for 25 yards and Ecker didn’t even catch a pass.  As owner Daniel Snyder tries to be the “George Steinbrenner” of football he keeps treating the NFL Draft with disdain often trading picks for veterans.  Ecker was just the latest failure among Redskins’ draft picks.
