The Redskins were having problems filling their starting left guard spot but that will no longer be an issue.  The Redskins have traded a 4th round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft for Pete Kendall who will move right into their starting lineup.  Kendall also got a $1 million dollar raise to agree to the trade.  He started 14 games for the Jets last season.  Kendall has now played in 158 games (156 starts) in his NFL career and he will add to those totals.  It was a nice move bringing in Kendall to start but the price was steep as the Redskins to continue thumb their noses at the NFL Draft.
