Redskins prevail 16-10 on the road over the Saints
This was a huge, unexpected win for the Redskins. Jason Campbell had a decent game as he completed 13 of 28 passes for 204 yards and a TD. LeDell Betts had a great game as he carried the ball 22 times for 119 yards (5.4 ypc) and caught 3 passes for 43 yards. Chris Cooley had a decent game with 4 catches for 80 yards. Santana Moss caught 3 passes for 37 yards and a TD.
Andre Carter led a good effort by the defense with 8 tackles and a sack. The Skins held the Saints to 71 yards rushing on 24 carries (3.0 ypc). The Saints completed 21 of 38 passes for 199 net yards passing.
The Redskins improved to 5-9 on the season with this win.

Defense looked better. Rogers had his second good game this year. Betts still runnin tough. Im encouraged for the remainder of the season.
i wonder if the Redskins are going to trade either Portis or Betts for a draft pick or two in April. They have alot of holes on this team and might not have the luxury to keep both of those guys if they can plug a hole somewhere else on roster.
I think one of the big reasons the defense looked better against the Saints is because the running game of Betts kept the Saints on the sideline.
