Mark Brunell starting to dazzle at QB
Mark Brunell had a rough start to this season, prompting many on this site to clamor for Jason Campbell to start playing! Where are they now? Instead of celebrating how well Mark Brunell is playing, they are hiding….afraid to admit they were wrong. Brunell has completed 77 of 118 passes (65.3%) for 950 yards with 4 TDs and 2 INT. Brunell’s play started to improve when Clinton Portis came back……and it should continue as the Redskins are firing on all cylinders now.

Skins need to stick with Brunell. Pretty disgusting the fans booing their own QB especially after all the years of Ramsey interceptions and follies. Ramsey was a prima donna, Brunell brought that team together, gave them leadership, and took them to the playoffs under the direction of Gibbs, not some seven million page “vanilla” playbook. Everyone wanting Campbell better sit tight, didn’t Collins work with Saunders before? And it was Collins warming up in the Titans game after Brunell was hurt, not #17.Brunell’s the man, maybe Saunders isn’t. Vanilla “don’t” work.
It is wrong to boo Brunell. He’s not the one that let Travis Henry run wild on them…and that’s the reason they lost! Antwaan Randle El and Brandon Lloyd have really stunk up the place so far this season. I don’t think Campbell is ready and Collins wouldn’t be any better than Brunell right now. If the Redskins goal is to make the playoffs, Brunell has to be the man. If they’re ready to give up on this season, then by all means….play Campbell.
